This is the 30th anniversary year since the formation of Leukaemia Busters in 1989. It is marvelous to see the major improvements that have been to leukaemia treatment over this period and the modest contributions we have been privileged to have made.
On Friday April 3rd, 2020 we will hold a celebratory themed Gala Ball “Pearls of Progress” at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton. Tickets are available now directly from this website by selecting ticket type and quantity and then click “Add to cart” above.
There will be a drinks reception followed by a three course dinner, an auction and raffle together with musical and other entertainment. For those who attended our last anniversary Silver Ball, we will be joined once again by the renowned soul and Motown band, Madison Heights. Your host MC for the evening will be local comedian and impersonator Mike Osman who will put in appearances as Boris Johnson and Donald Trump. The charity’s Patrons David Gower and his wife Thorunn will also be there joining in the fun on the night. There are fantastic prizes to be won in our auction that will include a holiday for two to Thailand and a luxury cruise for two plus many more high quality items!
Tickets:
- Individual tickets cost £70 per person or a table for ten will cost £650.
- A sponsored table for ten with wine for your guests and high profile advertising will cost £1,000. We would be delighted if you would join us in celebration of and in support of funding our vital life saving research work for future leukaemia patients.
