Motocross Charity Event 2016

On Sunday,  24th July, the Hampshire Motocross Club held their final meeting of the season at Matterley Basin, just outside Winchester .  This meeting was a charity event and raised £6356.00 in total for Leukaemia Busters.  Last year this event had to be cancelled due to the appallingly muddy conditions but this year the weather was much kinder, in fact almost too dry.

Matterley Basin is the site used by the British MotoCross Grand Prix in June and offers outstanding views of all the racing.

This year Matthew King was riding in fancy dress and asked for sponsorship raising £170.   Below is an awesome picture of Chris Wratten ‘flying’ over the course.

We would like to thank all the organisers from Hampshire Motocross Club for their hard work in making this event such a success.
