Sue’s Wing Walk

Leukaemia Busters’ Fundraising Assistant decided to take on the challenge of her lifetime and Wing Walk.  The event took place at Membury Airfield on the 5th July and while it only took 10 minutes in the air it was ‘Amazing’.    During the 10 minutes the pilot took the plane through a series of banking turns, dives and wing waggles while Sue did her best to breathe and wave at her friends and family down on the ground.  

Sue wore her Leukaemia Busters T-shirt to raise awareness of the charity and asked her friends and family to give donations to the charity in lieu of birthday presents.  They donated £950 in total.
