Walk the Test Way

David Hunt, who walked for Leukaemia Busters writes: ‘On the 6th Oct 2013, 600 like-minded people participated in “Walk the Test Way” including 180 people who took on the 25.5mile walk from St.Mary Bourne to Romsey. It was an early start for us all, but as we all gathered in the local hall and walker numbers were handed out, the coaches were ready to depart and take us to the starting point. It was all very well organised by Romsey Rotary Club,  from start to finish including plenty of marshalled points to give you a friendly face to spur you on. As the sun came out for us in this gorgeous autumn day, it was a pleasant stroll to the finish line through some of the most beautiful scenery in Hampshire. And with a welcome party awaiting us at the 25.5 mile mark, the cafe was a welcome sight. I would recommend this walk as a great challenge, and opportunity to raise money.’    Thank you David.
