The Wimborne Orchestra are to hold a memorial concert for their much admired long term member and cellist, Bob Cox who passed away last year. Bob was also a keen supporter of Leukaemia Busters raising sponsorship money when he participated in the charity’s annual Purbeck Odyssey walks.
The Wimborne Orchestras’ “Last Night of the Proms” Autumn concert on Monday the 17th October 2022 is set to honour Bob’s memory and raise money for Leukaemia Busters, something that we know Bob would heartily approve of.
Dr David Flavell, Scientific Director of Leukaemia Busters commented:
