King Harry’s Bar

Easter Fun raised £300 for Leukaemia Busters at the King Harry Bar in Shaklin.  Organiser Jane Cross says; ” We had a good turnout of locals and holidaymakers in Harrys Bar. Lots of competitive cake decorating created lots of laughs and An Australian lady who was on holiday from East London won the giant chocolate egg by guessing the number of Easter eggs in the bottle. The evening finished with Nicola, the landlady, hosting ‘play your cards right’. A good evening was had by all. Thanks to Chocolate Island, in Godshill, for donating the giant egg. Thanks also to Julia Williams for her baking and her help, and Stephen Murphy for his skills on the microphone.”

Our thanks go to Jane, Julia and Stephen and all the regulars and visitors at the King Harry for their support of Leukaemia Busters.

Below is the lucky winner with her Giant Egg and a display of the decorated cup cakes.  See our Gallery for more photos.
