Kayleigh’s mum was diagnosed as a child with leukaemia and although only had a twenty percent chance of survival was successfully treated at Southampton General Hospital and happily grew into adulthood only to have Kayleigh more than twenty years later. Kayleigh wanted to give something back to say thank you and help in developing cures for other not so fortunate patients so jump she did!

When 18 year old nursery worker Brooke Skelton’s grandad Charlie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia she decided to fundraise for Leukaemia Busters by fulfilling her ambition to jump out of an aeroplane at 15,000 feet. Brooke successfully completed her jump on the 4th July and came down to earth gently much to her grandad’s relief. Brooke raised £770 for the charity through sponsorship for her jump.
