Leukaemia Busters’ Skydive Day 2017

After a cancellation on the 13th May, our skydiver, William Reed did his skydive on 3rd June, at Old Sarum Airfield outside Salisbury.   GoSkydive , once again took our intrepid skydiver through his training and then his thrilling Tandem Skydive.

William had never done anything like this before and agreed that it was the thrill of a lifetime.  On 12th July, William held a presentation at South Lawns Hotel, Milford-on-Sea where he presented a cheque for a total of £2172.00 to Sue Rudge (left) and Rob Sutcliffe (right).

The event was attended by over 40 of William’s very generous sponsors and as well as the cheque presentation they heard a short talk about the charity from Mr Sutcliffe, Chairman of the Trustees, and also watched the video of Williams Skydive.

Pictured below are William and his parents when they visited the Simon Flavell Laboratory recently to present a further cheque to David and Bee Flavell (far right & far left)and receive a final certificate acknowledging William’s fundraising efforts to date and William at the airfield on the 13th May.
