Pirates of the Caribbean Summer Cruise

During the recent August Bank Holiday weekend Shamrock Quay hosted its annual berth holder event, treating its customers to a Pirates of the Caribbean themed Solent cruise, and raising a fantastic £960 for Leukaemia Busters in the process!

The funds were raised through a raffle at the event, which was attended by over 180 berth holders with some great prizes on offer, including tickets for the England vs Malta game at Wembley with hospitality.   

Shamrock Quay’s Marina Manager, Jonathan Walcroft officially presented the cheque for £756 to Dr David Flavell from Leukaemia Busters at the Southampton Boat Show. 

Jonathan Walcroft, Marina Manager at Shamrock Quay, commented: “It’s important to us that we support local initiatives in and around our marinas and we are delighted to be able to present this cheque to Leukaemia Busters and support the phenomenal work they do. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to this fantastic cause.”
