21st Norman Barnes Golf Day

This event was held at the Purbeck Golf Club on 3rd June.   Once again, Peter Joliffe, Len Robinson and their friends commemorated the death of Norman Barnes from leukaemia in 1992 by organising a day keeping to Norman’s ethics – golf, social and charity.    The day went really well, Mike Osman was a brilliant MC, 40 teams of three played (a full house), two teams tied with Rod Lamont, Adam Ravenly and Richard Cross being declared the winners on count back.  The total raised was £7000 to add to the £130,000 already raised over the past 21 years.
