The Great South Run 2014

GSR 4On a warm but blustery 26th October Bee Flavell, her daughter Serena and Rebecca Bothamley took part in the Great South Run to raise funds for Leukaemia Busters.   This was a first run for Bee and she finished the 10 mile run in 1.42.29 hours.  Rebecca was just behind her in 1.52.06 and Serena was ahead in 1.36.50.  Well Done all three of you – fantastic achievement!

Rebecca Bothamley (pictured left with Bee Flavell) was running in memory of her sister Rachel Smith who died in 1989 after being diagnosed with leukaemia at 18th months of age and being ill for over 5 years.
